DJ Music

DJing seems to be a bit of a novelty for some people, after all it possess that ‘cool’ hip, street cred so many people crave, ironically this isn’t what being a DJ is about.

No surprise then that designers and artists are taking to DJ equipment and DJing as a source of inspiration. Check out the picture below, an interesting take on both DJing and cooking, where the DJ mixer is the controller for the two hobs that take the place of decks, add to this built in speakers, a TV monitor and it looks like a DJ setup, certainly if you have the space and the money, it could make a bit of a feature. whats more intersting about this from a DJ perspective is that it again proves that DJing is now part of mainstream culture.

I suppose there is a parallel between DJing and cooking when you look at this:
